Warm New Year greetings to you all!
As we emerge from a very challenging 2020 we know that many of the challenges still remain. Mindfulness practice helps us to tune into and familiarise ourselves with our inner world so that we can recognise and respond to the challenges skilfully, instead of reacting to what we don’t want to experience.
Resourcing ourselves with both wings of mindfulness – awareness and compassion – we will continue in our sessions to navigate these stormy waters.
Our practice helps us discern what’s really important; what we need, as opposed to what we want, in our changing lives.
Compassion, the second wing of mindfulness, is sometimes described as “a lubricant for the heart”. With kindly acceptance and care for our experience, we deepen into a more conscious and tender relationship to ourselves and others.
